My grandmother's everyday china from the 60s. We put a set back together from replacements.com and eBay when I got married. Restocking it was her wedding gift to me. It took 4 years but I have 15 place settings and some serving pieces.
Also, her replacement wedding ring. her original was stolen when her house was robbed a couple years after my grandfather died.

I have a lor of jewelry that had been my mom's. Most was given to me on special occasions, so it's doubly meaningful. I also have artwork done by my aunt and gramma. Both are living, but that doesn't make those things less awesome.
Pictures for sure would be first to grab in a fire. Only our wedding cd is in the safe. I need to fix that.

Toss up between all the things that were my Grandmother's, which would be her china, her engagement ring, and a star sapphire ring. I love her china, but I could replace it with identical china that wasn't hers if I needed to. I guess there's not way to replace either of her rings, especially her engagement ring. She told me that when she was engaged, she would lay in bed at night, hold her hand up, watch is sparkle in the moonlight and think of my grandfather. This is her pretty china.
It would have to be a toss-up between a piece of Muddy Water's cabin that I have, or a string of pearls that has passed from my great-great grandma, all the way down the line to me, each on our wedding days.
My initial reaction was my engagement and wedding ring.
After reading some of your posts, I also thought of my baby grand piano (which I haven't been playing and I should) and my first real doll that was and always will be my baby Gina (she sits on the bed in our spare bedroom).
