season sun room? My sunroom currently has pink outdoor carpet :-( and I can't take it anymore. I want to put something like this in. The sub floor is smooth concrete and from what I know, there's no moisture in the floor in the winter (as in the carpet is never wet).
We have it in our kitchen and laundry room. I absolutely hate the way it looks (just personal preference) and I'm dying to get rid of it, but I don't think anything will destroy it. I've tried sliding our Bernese Mountain Dog over it, pushing heavy appliances over it, spilling boiling water on it, etc. I haven't been able to damage it at all. It's very durable and I think it would hold up just fine in a sun room.
I read ALL of the reviews on that link and a lot of people applied it on concrete but I didn't see anyone put it in an enclosed porch. Then again, my sunroom stays pretty warm through December, if not longer. As long as there's sun, that room is okay. I guess I'll give it a shot.
What about sealing and painting the cement, then adding a nice rug?
I do have a big area rug that I would put down but I'd like the floor underneath to feel a little "warmer" than that if you know what I mean. I've had really bad experiences with painted concrete floors in this house too.
What about calling the vinyl manufacturer and asking if their specific stuff will hold up? I actually really like vinyl, we're getting sheet vinyl in our house for cost reasons but I'm really excited that about it. it's softer, warmer and much more child/ pet friendly in the way that I know well replace it in like, a decade or 2 so I dont have to worry about keeping it pristine.
