I usually read multiple books at a time. I always have. I studied Lit so I had to be able to read several books at once, but I have been reading 2-3 books at a time since I was a kid. I love audio books too. They are great for when you have to clean or do something repetitive and boring.
I am usually in the middle of a regular book and an audiobook at any given time. If I'm not really feeling a book, though, I'll switch back and forth between it and something else.
I generally read 2-3 at a time, and lately it's been one on my Kindle and one real book. I only listen to audio books when I'm on a long road trip because otherwise I get distracted by other things or get bored. But when I'm stuck in a car for hours I'm a captive audience and it's already a little boring.

Generally I have three or four books going at once. One book -- whether paper or on the Kindle, one audio book for when I am walking, and one I'm reading aloud, and one DH is reading aloud during our weekly story-time.
I usually make sure the books are different otherwise I can get the stories mixed up. One time I was reading three books set in Elizabethan England and couldn't keep the stories straight.

One at a time for me, too, unless I have a specfic reason to knock out a couple at a time (i.e. class). I just finished up course work for literature classes, though. I hope to be able to get more reading done from now on (which is sort of ironic).
I'm usually reading a book or two on my kindle, a DTB (love that!) and books for school. My H and I just started getting audio books from our library, so we've been listening to one at a time together in the car, and then listening to a few individually.
Right now I've got several going- but three of them are textbooks. I usually have an audio book going in the car and a hard copy or kindle book going at home. Right now I'm just waiting until school is done and I can get through even more.
2-4 at a time. Depends on my mood. Often one of the books is somehow cooking related instead of a novel. I rarely have more than 2 novels going at once.
I sometimes read just one during the evening, but sometimes I'll switch back and forth. I sometimes will read one book at lunch at work, but something different in the evenings at home.

It depends what I'm reading. If it's nonfiction I usually read 2 at a time. If it's fiction, usually just one since I tend to read those faster. I will also sometimes read one ebook and one "real" book at the same time.

Usually I'm a 1 at a time girl. I've tried 2 at a time, but it has to be one fiction and one non-fiction/biography because I get confused very easily and will start to blend my stories together.
I usually have an e-book and an audiobook going. I listen to the audiobook during nap time while I knit/fold clothes/clean house I read the e-book in the evenning/before bed
Usually only one at a time, but sometimes I will start another just before finishing one. For example, I am almost finished with Born on a Blue Day right now, but brought Daughter of Smoke and Bone with me to read at lunch today for a change of pace. I'll finish Born on a Blue Day tonight.
