best way to find apartment for Paris vacation?

We will be in Paris for 5 nights and hear an apartment rental might be a nice option instead of a hotel. Does anyone have any recommended sites? Should I just use the standard ones such as VRBO.com, homeaway.com, etc?

Also- any advice on choosing a specific rental?

We were there last fall and stayed here:

I booked it through homeaway.com, but also found it on vrbo.com. It was cheap (750 Euro for the week), but relatively small. However, the location made up for it being small. If you want any details, feel free to send me a private message.

I just booked mine on VRBO for 5 nights. It is very small ((studio) but for 5 nights after cleaning fees I believe it is less than $600 dollars. I think it is $90 a night or something?

I made sure to read the reviews of the places we looked at and based our selection on that.

Try airbnb.com. We did some research on some places but ended up going the hotel route. Friends of ours had used the site and had good experiences.
