We want to list in the spring, but there's a few things that need to be done. However, the market is better here, but not great, and I don't want to sink more money into this house that we'll never get back. So, I want to see if our realtor that sold it and who we'll be listing it with will come out in the fall and give us some pointers on things to do/not do over the winter so that its ready to go for spring.
Can't hurt to ask. What things do you think need to be done? We had painters come and do the whole condo in a nice neutral color. We also spruced up the kitchen with new solid surface counters and tile on the floor. All together it probably cost three thousand for all of that. Some other things you can do that will cost you nothing are declutter and wash all windows inside and out.

Yes, we have had 2 realtors do this for us. Our realtor also told us she would show pics of our house at one of her office meetings and ask for input from some of the other agents she works with, it was extremely helpful.
