Friday-2 mile race with the BOB! Finished in 17:24, which was under my goal time of 18:00
Me and my racing buddy:
And holy crap, was I sore Saturday AM. I run with the BOB every weekend, since fall is racing season here and my H hunts which means I'll be running the local races with the stroller. But man, I guess actually racing with the BOB is a different animal than leisurely running with it on the weekends!
Saturday: Walk, lift
Sunday: Walk
I start 10K/15K/half marathon training today, so I was resting up in preparation
I had a pretty kick ass weekend although my body was hurting yesterday and still a little today!
Fri- rest day Sat- Tri the Wildwoods 5k with a PR of 25.54, placed fourth in my age group! Sun- Radnor Steeplechase 5k with obstacles, much harder than I expected but so much fun and I raced with my son which made the morning even better
Friday--HEAT class. It was killer--50 each of inverted rows, burpees, sit-ups, push-ups, wallball shots, KB russion twists, lunges, dips, squat jumps and pull-ups. I finished dead last
Saturday--4 mile run. I typically take Saturday morning easy due to HEAT the night before (dog walk, stretch), but we had a planned date night and I wanted the calories burned so I could indulge in cocktails, poutine and pizza
Sunday--Rest, 2 mile dog walk. I was going to go to yoga but elected to wash my car while we still had pleasant (non-muggy) weather.
