We normally do not buy any organic food items in our household (mainly because DH doesn't want a bigger grocery bill). But I'm reading some articles say organic foods might be beneficial for pregnant women. Do you try to eat organic while pregnant?

Definitely! I eat as natural and organic as possible, but I don't go overboard either. I especially like buying organic fruits, I think they taste so good!

While I try to shop the perimeter of the supermarket and eat mainly whole foods, I don't make it a point to buy organic. I figure I'm already doing better than average with what we eat. Baby spinach and salad mixes are the one things I consistently buy organic.
The grocery stores in my area tend to have pathetic looking organic produce and meat options. The closests Whole Foods or Trader Joes is a good distance away and prohibitively expensive for a (soon to be) family of 4.
I don't make a point to eat organic. I am trying to eat less processed foods in general, and stick to more fruits and veggies, but I'm not going out of my way to spend a lot of extra money on organic produce.
We try to incorporate some organic veggies that are on sale. I do drink only hormone- and antibiotic-free organic milk since I have been pg. Most of the fruit I like has to be peeled so I don't bother with organic there.

I only buy organic for taste, not for food safety. Most if not all the chemicals that make it a good thing health wise to buy organic, have already been banned in Europe. In the US I buy mostly organic because food safety there scares me.
The only things I buy organic are for the better animal treatment, so eggs and meat. I try to buy organic soy too. But it has nothing to do with pregnancy.
I try to buy organic (and free range) for eggs. I also buy hormone free and sometimes organic for dairy. I don't eat meat, but if I did, I would probably buy grass fed/organic as well. My reasoning is mostly for better animal treatment. I used to have chickens (and plan to get more this fall or spring) and I would rather just have those eggs, since they are fresher and I can choose what to feed them and treat them well myself. I also buy organic soy, mainly to avoid the gmos in it (I can't even remember why, but one of my coworkers convinced me that gmo soy was bad).
I try to buy the dirty dozen organic. I don't mind paying more for eggs and meat that aren't factory farmed. Its cruel to animals so I buy locally now.

I make a point to eat organic off of the list of items that research has shown really counts. For instance, strawberries, apples, celery (basically anything that you eat in its entirety). I don't stress on things that will not be eaten anyhow (pineapple, avocado, bananas, etc). We also grow a lot of our own veggies in the summertime.
In terms of meat, there is not a reasonable priced choice for us. We are going to go in halfs with another family and get a grass fed cow this year though.

This.
Also, your siggy pic is adorable natablue
Thank you @abbycobb. My SIL took it this past weekend at a wedding.

We're really lucky in that we live close to my grandparents and they raise chickens and grow tons of stuff in the garden, so we get eggs and most of our produce from them.
We buy local meat when we can, so we know how it was raised/treated. Sometimes we do pick up something from the store instead. Yesterday I was craving tacos so we grabbed some meat from the grocery.
Basically, we do what we can, but I don't beat myself up about it if we buy/eat something not organic. It's a balancing act sometimes. Even when I was a vegetarian I was far from a "perfect" eater.

Not really. But I do tend to gravitate towards organic strawberries, and certain other fruits because they just look so much better. I do buy free range organic eggs, and we try to hit up a local year round farmers market too.
No. But like Cheesecake I'm in Europe and we have stricter rules here. Organic is just waaay too expensive. But I do get free range eggs 99.9% of the time.
I eat organic as often as possible and there are some things I only buy organic. I have been eating like this for years, not just because of the pregnancy.
I don't go out of my way to eat organic. I really wish we were closer to farm country where I could pick up fresh eggs, meat, veggies, etc. from a local place cheaply. Here the farmers mmarkets are insanely expensive.
