I did a pretty strenuous (for me!) running workout on the treadmill. I ran for an hour and ever since I finished about an hour ago my chest/heart (I assume it's my heart) is hurting. Is this normal? I have myself convinced I'm having a heart attack...lol.
Hopefully it's nothing. I've experienced something like that before, pregnant and not pregnant. It was severe heartburn/reflux and a strained chest wall muscle, respectively.
Thanks for the replies! I thought it was probably a pulled muscle or something and that was why I was questioning if I should go in or not. I did go in and had an EKG and everything is fine. They said it was an inflammation of the chest tissues or muscles and it could have been caused by pushing myself too hard or just the motion of running.
