I want to download a book for my plane ride tomorrow. I have a really hard time reading on planes because I get motion sickness very easily so I think I also want to download a movie.
Since I am going to Hood2Coast, I think a running-related book or movie would be fun. But really, anything NOT DARK OR SERIOUS will fit the bill.
I have "Marathon Woman" by Katherine Switzer on my 'to read' list. She is a fairly accomplished writer, so it is supposedly really well written in addition to being running related.

Im in the middle of this now (i plan to finish it on a flight this weekend), im really enjoyinh it.
"What i talk abiut when i talk about running" by haruki murakami is wonderful, beautifully ywritten and not at all dark.

Tyler Hamilton's book was really good.
I'm reading Lopez Lomong's book right now. Not sure if that's too serious for what you're looking for but I can't put it down. Luckily the sad part of it didn't last too long.
