I went off the Coumadin last Monday and felt fine all week, but last night my leg started feeling swollen/heavy. The spot of my largest clot (groin) also started feeling weird. It's not pain - more like a chafing/rug burn feeling. I'm also experiencing chest twinges (again, not painful). This could just be me adjusting to life without meds or it could be something else. I'm here to find out.

I hope it's just you adjusting. If it's not, is there any way they can put you on lovenox? It's a shot but without the food issues and weekly blood draws of coumadin.
I'm clothed and back in the waiting area - sticking around until my doc comes back from lunch. Based on the tech's comments, I'll be on my way home soon.
I don't think I'm going to make it to the gym today.
I was lounging on the couch last night when I started noticing the symptoms. I jammed my hand down my pants to see if the bad clot site at my groin was warm to the touch. I asked FI, "hey does this feel hot to you?" And he's all, "Totally!" and takes his shirt off. I had to inform him that this was a medical question, not foreplay.
