Did you ever do an intro?

It seems like we have all these "hey I'm new-look at my life story" posts lately, and it got me thinking. I never did an intro post on any of my boards, not even my BMB. I just started posting, and including the amount of info I thought was needed depending on the audience.

So, did you guys intro at some point? They kind of annoy me, but in a harmless way.

What annoys me is the "hey here's my intro post" and then they never come back.

I don't remember doing a formal intro but I think I did a few "lurker with a ?" posts that gave some background on me.

Yup, and I was a stupid newb who was upset about not being KU after the first cycle. The flaming was memorable. lol. I think I've done a few re-intros when I've come back after breaks just because the regs I knew all scattered to the wind.

I did an intro. A bunch of old regs (who I think are now on Facebook) were posting photos and videos. So I thought I should post a photo and an intro.

I think I made an intro/question combo post. I remember Olive flaming me for not looking for the answer to my question in the posts on the board, lol. I was asking about books to read before/during TTC.

Hello I'm Kim. My son is almost 10 months old and I either want another one immediately or not for years. I can't make a decision and stick to it regarding this matter for more than about 4 hours. I think we may TTC again within the next 6-8 months but I don't know.

I did when I started posting on 3T and on the adoption board but I think intros are kind of standard there. I never did on BOTB or anywhere else.
