I don't mop nearly as often as I need to and I think a steam mop will magically fix this. TIA!

We've had two and hated them both. They don't seem to get things clean.

My friend has a shark one and it is so awesome. I have thought about getting it but realized it will not make me hate cleaning the floors less.

I have a question about steam mops - I have real hardwoods (75-year-old). I'm not supposed to use steam mops on them at all, right?

I think if they are sealed you can use it on real hard wood *I take no responsibility for your 75 yr old floors.

I have no idea if they are sealed or not. Do you know how you tell?

So I shouldn't use them on my 100 year old (sealed!) wood floors? Dang it. I have the same anti-mop tendencies as the OP and want an easy fix.

I think if they are sealed you are good - but obviously google this before going out and possibly ruining your floors.
The "nope sorry" was in response to knowing how to check to see if they are sealed. I just failed at quoting.
