DH and I are staying with his brother and his wife for a while and I don't want the cat to start clawing on the carpet or furniture.

What did you think of them? Did they work? How did your cat react to them?

Polly laid down like, "ugh, if you MUST" and let me do it. I like them. I think PetsMart carries an offbrand, that's the kind we bought, and it comes with a ton of them in the package, so it will last you a while.

Our cats hated them and always managed to get them off, we'd find them all over the house.

However, for your situation I would give them a try.

We love them. Our cats aren't thrilled with having them put on, but have never been fussy about it. We've been using them for about 2 yrs and started when we got them as kittens.

I plan on putting them on Indy before we move so he can hopefully get used to them.

He is also going to be locked in the bedroom with us at night. I know he will be scratching at the door to get out. That will be fun...
