I love both. The quality can't be beat, and the PediPeds can be washed. They came out looking brand new, in fact, and they can be submerged in water. This made them a top choice for summer shoes for the parks with water features around here.

Kid shoes are $$$ if you want sometihng that will last.
I usually get my boys a pair of stride rite sneakers in Sept... and a pair of good sandals in April (sometimes stride rite, this year it was pediped)... and those last for most of the cool/warm seasons.... dress shoes always = cheap from target or even consignment, since they are worn like once... And they always have a pair of crocs that they can wear - usually get them on sale from zuiliy or other clearance type site...
i spend more on my kids shoes than mine --- b/c i want them to fit them well as they are learning to walk/run, etc. Thankfully I have boys (yes, i said it again) b/c I'd spend way too much money if i had girls -- their shoes are too damn cute!
I just picked up an awesome pair of girls Cole Haan sandals for $15 at the Bloomingdale's outlet the other day, but unfortunately, they're not online
SST gets most of her shoes from Target too. She goes through them so fast, I can't bring myself to spend $$$ on shoes for her. She's got big feet like her mama.
