Meet The Sims (PIP)

I started a new Sim adventure today...  (I hope these pictures work... I'm not sure how big they'll be)

Meet Cory Jones.  She came to Isla Paradiso to open a resort... and to follow her treasure hunting dreams to find all eight of the uncharted islands that are rumoured to exist around the town.

Here's Cory:


She knew that taking over the resort would require a lot of capital, she also knew that as an owner of the resort should could stay at the resort and eat the food for free.  But since she was required to buy a home lot (the game won't let Sims live on resort lots) she bought the cheapest possible... a small houseboat for $249.



She didn't bother to build anything, but bought the Hobart's Hideaway Resort for free, changed the name to Lost in Paradise, and headed over to the resort to check things out.



Yeah - the place needs a little work.  So she checked the resort reviews and found the biggest complaint was crappy food and dirty rooms.  So she added more buffet tables, upped the quality of the food and hired more maintenance workers.  That should start to improve things...



Then she decided to find the first of the 8 uncharted islands.  She heard rumours about one small island the was located between two others, so she hopped onto a water taxi and headed over to see what should could find.  And wouldn't you know it... she found Beryl Shoals!


She then headed to the Sparkling Sands Resort because she heard the front desk clerk might know something about another island called Refuge Island... this started an adventure which had Cory making friends, finding Kelp, and walking on live coals.


After that, Cory figured it was time to eat at the buffet and then head to bed.  The nice thing about the resort is that while you are sleeping it also increases your bathroom and hygiene bars so when Cory wakes up in the morning, she is all set and ready to start the day running!

And that's just the start of Cory's Adventures... does anyone else want to share their stories?

I make a lot of douchebag Sims in my games.

I think my current file is the obligatory try to make babies with every single person in town. I named him Chode Dickwrangler.

I think I snorted out my drink when I read that! That is an awesome name .

nicbreeful I think the top is actually a swimsuit outfit from the Sunlit Tides World that I got from The Sims Store (the blue one right?) I'm a sucker for new worlds, I think I have all of them except Lunar Lakes and Dragon Valley. I think I'll be getting Dragon Valley when I'm done with this story, I'm not sure I really like Isla Paradiso.

I just started with my first character. Her name is Amanda, she's a writer with no full time job. She's currently involved in a lesbian affair with a married workaholic perfectionist named Ilianna. Ilianna's husband and two children are still in the dark.

I totally wasted my entire morning with this game. I'm promising myself that I will do some house cleaning since I'm currently downloading the Late Night expansion pack. I'm guessing I won't get anything else done the rest of the day once I start playing again.
