You guys, I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. So now Annabella has HFM, because there's horrible blisters on her face, palms, and heels. Matt's getting sick now too. I JUST finished basically disinfecting every room in this house, and more disaster strikes. We've been watching our neighbors dogs this week over at their house because they asked us last minute, and they neglected to tell us, THEY ARE INFESTED WITH FLEAS. So now our dogs have fleas. This is the second time they have done this to us. And, this is the second week I have turned my house upside down and bleached everything, washed all our clothes and linens (because last week, the doc told us Bella's rash was Staph), and now I might have to do it again for fucking fleas.
Why can't I drink right now?!
Sorry, please forgive my venting. Drinks and cookies for you if you made it through this.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with so much right now. One of my friends little boys that is a few months older than our kiddos just got over HFM. I hope things start looking up soon. Get better Bella!
I'm so sorry. That sucks major monkeyballs. I would love to send you some PA goodness. Let me know what you love and I will ship it. Bonus points for shoo-fly or whoppie pies
That is beyond rude to leave someone with flea infested dogs. Hope A and DH feel better,I know it's tough! Our dog had ticks on her this weekend and I'm freaking the eff out over here myself.
Oh no! And holy shit I would be pissed at my "friends" who have their flea-infested dogs to me, especially with a toddler, for the SECOND time. That is incredibly rude!

Thanks, guys! I have cheesecake brownie Ben and Jerry's in my fridge for later and I'm eating the whole fucking pint, lol. We will be having a discussion with them this time about it, a serious one. They're friends of ours, but they're not always super considerate when they want/need something, so it's time for a come to Jesus talk about it.
I also hate/love that I'm a clean FREAK. It's good because, well, I always have a clean house. But bad because then when something like this happens, I go overboard.
On the bright side, I made chicken soup and vegetable beef soup today for the week, and I just got a shit ton of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers out of my garden so I can make more pickles and salsa this week.
Oh man, I'd be so frustrated. I really hope you guys catch a break soon! It's just been one thing after another, ugh. Hang in there, mama! And enjoy that Ben & Jerry's!!
I'm sorry. That's a lot to deal with all at once. I hope everyone feels better, and I'd definitely give the neighbors a piece of my mind.
FYI diatomaceous earth can kill fleas and it's safe to be around pets and kids. You can get it at garden stores (the food-grade kind, not the pool grade). It's a white powder and if you rub it in your pets' fur, it can get rid of the existing fleas and prevent more fleas.

It just seems so wrong that you have to go through that without the benefit of wine. But seriously, you are super woman. You are such a great mom and wife. And I gotta be honest, if it was me, I would be laying around whining, not making soup and salsa and pickles on top of everything else. I hope the germs leave your house alone and everyone feels better. And your neighbors better keep that supply of ice cream coming, because they majorly owe you. Enjoy your Ben & Jerry's!
I sorry cream, that sucks. Enjoy your ice cream tonight. That is one of my favorite flavors.
Funny story: I had just given birth to C and they weighed her. I was shocked that she was almost 9 pounds. While the doc is stitching me up I say we'll I guess it is a good thing I ate so much ice cream!
awww that sounds horrible! I'll second the diatomaceous earth. You can sprinkle it around in all the carpets if you are worried about an infestation. And one upside is they are getting this fairly common sickness now, and not in a couple of months with a newbie to worry about catching it also.

Sorry, cream not fair at all to have to deal with all of this. I hope Matt and Bella heal quickly, and you totally deserve every spoonful of that ice cream. I am sending a virtual junk punch to your inconsiderate friends.
OMG. I wish I lived closer so I could come help you. Poor Bella. Poor M. Poor itchy dogs. Poor mama! This sounds like hell. Sending you big hugs and lots of hopes for some rest. I'm so sorry, sweetie. Love you guys!

You poor thing! Seriously, that sounds miserable but you are a toughy and A will get better. If I was a flea I wouldn't want to F with you and your cleaning prowess! :-). Hugs! It WILL pass.
I'm so so sorry! Times like that make me want to crawl in a closet and let someone else deal with my life for awhile. Enjoy that ice cream, lady. Things will look up soon.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. P had HFM a few weeks ago, I felt so bad feel so bad for your daughter, they must be so uncomfortable, poor things! Anyway, I'm glad you are going to talk to your neighbours, that is just awful they would send their dogs over with fleas. How inconsiderate and rude.
