Ringtones?

I love looking for new ones. I use Zedge generally.

Right now, my notification sound is the TARDIS landing. My general ringtone is the violin solo from Young Frankenstein. H gets the Superman theme (from the Christopher Reeves movies), and my brother has a verse from "Let's Build A Snowman" in Cannibal the Musical. I don't think anyone else has personalized ringtones right now.

Other sounds that I've downloaded but are not currently in use include 2 different Batman themes (the 60s series, and the Danny Elfman/Michael Keaton one), Time Warp (Rockey Horror), the theme from Blazing Saddles, the Mario Brothers theme (this was my ringtone for a long time on my old phone), theme from Dr Horrible's SingALong Blog, and the knife-stabbing sound effect from Psycho.

What are some of your favorites?

I use the Doctor Who Theme for my ringtone. I'm terrible at not recognizing the ring so when I got my iPhone last year I picked one I knew I'd recognize.

I thought about the Tardis for notifications, but thought it might be too long. Maybe I'll try again

One friend has the Imperial March from Star Wars which is also awesome. Another friend has the Mahna Mahna from the Muppets which may be slightly less geeky, but still fun.

Oh! The Imperial March is my ringtone for when work calls! I forgot about that one. And my dad is the theme from Jurassic Park.

I haven't found that the Tardis sound is too long for notifications. It seems to work perfectly for me, and I always recognize it, LOL. That's part of why I try to pick distinctive things: I have that problem too!

I have the Mario coin for notifications. It's perfect.

I used to have the Buffy theme as my ringtone but changed it to a regular ring ring.

My favorite was the Indiana Jones theme, but I lost it and haven't had it for years.

When Spidey calls, the ringtone is Michael Buble singing the Spider-man theme. My text notification now is the Torchwood one because I couldn't find the Bazinga one I had on my last phone. I never re-downloaded any of my ringtones.

My general ringtone is the Final Fantasy battle fanfare and my text tone is Rue's whistle. Love it!

For DH's ringtone I use the song I walked down the aisle to. One of my friend's is the Zelda theme. For everyone else it's the Doctor Who theme.

Where did you get the tardis ringtone from? And those who have the DW theme, where is that from?

Where did you get the tardis ringtone from? And those who have the DW theme, where is that from?

I had purchased the DW theme song and used my phone to set it as a ringtone.

ETA: I bought the song through iTunes, but transferred it to my new phone when I bought a Galaxy III.

I got my DW theme from iTunes and the Tardis I got from Zedge. It has instructions on how to get it to your phone if you can't download it directly.
