A friend asked me to help him plan his HM yesterday afternoon, which after some email exchange, I now think has turned into me actually do all the research and coming up with some suggestions for them. Happy to do it, but I need some help to make sure I don't miss something good.
Here are the details:
- Want all-inclusive; prefer adults only, but are ok with going to one that allows kids
- Budget: no more than $5K, but would prefer to spend closer to $3,000-4,000 (this is for airfare and resort)
- Will be gone 9 nights/10 days and are leaving from Baltimore; dates are Oct 18-27
- Are OK with anywhere but Mexico or Jamaica (those are the only two destinations they do not want to go to)
- Good snorkeling is a must! Also would like free wifi (his fiance will need to do some schoolwork while there for her masters degree) and a spa.

curacao fits all of those but the only AI i know of is breezes. he'll be better off not doing AI there. the snorkeling is OUTSTANDING. the island is super easy to get around-no reason to stay at an AI which is why there are so few. it's also not expensive.

I totally read this as "chicago fits all of those..." Haha! I was seriously wondering what was so exciting about snorkeling in Lake Michigan!
