Does she eat tuna? Max loves tuna salad and crackers. Also cold sausage and sliced cheese, or cheese and mayo sandwiches (sounds weird but he loves it).

A lot of almond butters may still contain peanuts, so be careful depending on how strict the requirements are. Sun butter goes over really well here. We also do a lot of hummus, bean dip, or other dips.
Just ask about the almond butter to make sure since its a nut. L's dc only serves soy nut butter. I think the fruit cheese and maybe some crackers sounds good. Hummus sandwich with cucumber or something like that on it. L picks the beans out of things, she loves them plain so black beans are a good too.
I will text the director. I will look for sun butter instead just to be safe. Thanks for the tips.
Our daycare is nut free and serves sun butter and jelly sandwiches all the time. The kids seem to like them. We got some soynut butter at home and DH thinks it's ok, but I think it tastes weird.
A lot of kids with peanut allergies also have tree nut allergies (G does) so definitely a good thing to check, even if the almond butter doesn't contain peanuts/wasn't made in a factory containing peanuts.

I was going to say sunbutter as well. You could still send hot lunches in a thermos. So, if you did ravioli or soup or something, just set the thermos down in hot water before you fill with the hot food. It will stay relatively warm til lunch time.

This we fill a thermos with hot water for a few minutes then dump it out and put in warm food, it stays war.
Let her eat pb&j like sandwiches, the world will not end if she eats the same thing for lunch every day . Hope you find sunbutter it is hard to find around here.
