Superhero fans

If you haven't heard of the book The Girl Who Would be King, you should look into it. My H heard about it on one of the websites he goes to a lot (i09, maybe) and got it for me. It was a kickstarter book, which I think is cool.

I think the book is good. I think if you are a big fan of superheroes you will really like it. The characters are written well, the scenes between the two main characters (Bonnie and Lola) are amazing.

I will say that I am not that into superheroes. Because of that, I am sure that there are references in the book that I didn't pick up on. Things that if you are a fan of, you would get right away. I got the obvious ones, but I think that there are probably ones I missed and maybe would have added to it if I had gotten them.

I'm not going to get into specifics, because I don't want to inadvertently spoil anything for anyone. If you have questions, I can try to answer them, though.
