Hahaha! That's awesome - he looks great. Do you get your sim together with townie sims or do you make your own. I've only ever tried with townie sims and the kids can be really hit or miss. I found that kids from Matthew Hamming in Bridgeland often looked AWFUL despite him being a hot actor . Your house looks nice - what town are you in and do you build your own or use a pre-built one?
Cory has been busy this week! First of all she fought a shark
And won which let her finish the challenges to locate another island. It looked nice so she moved there
The she spent some time upgrading her resort...
But that ate up most of her money, so she needed to find a way to make some more. So she decided to go to University! Not only do the grants give you a ton of money, the increase in pay at a job with a degree would give her more cash quicker.
Then is was time for one last good by with her boyfriend, Teodor...
Before she headed off to University where she found her Phys Ed lecture fascinating...
Well, the outside was nice!! The inside was pretty awful, but your upgrades are definitely improving things! I like to find house plans and then try to recreate them in the Sims. So I'll build the house in Edit Town mode (so I'm not limited by money) then save the house to the library so I know what it's supposed to look like. Then I downgrade the house until my sim can afford it, and work my way back up to the completed version. It usually doesn't look quite the same, but it's fun anyway .
Here's one that I did for Island Paradise... I haven't found anyone to live there yet, but maybe Cory will move into it when she's discovered all her islands. Although I am more temped to build a place that is more beachy than this one is.
Here's the front:
The back/side

And thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying her story! I've never really tried to do a Sim story before and I'm having fun with it.
As I posted earlier, Cory just bought a cheap houseboat lot and lived at her resort. Once she found Refuge Island, it had a cabin so she moved there. Here's the inside of the cabin...
It's pretty rustic, but the All In One Bathroom is awesome because it fixed the bathroom and shower need at the same time! And it's small. I've made a few upgrades, but the buildable lot isn't that big on the island so there's not much I can do. Cory still spends most of her time at the resort or working on skills to find more islands. This game is obviously set in Isla Paradiso, I'm not really sure I like it. There are two big islands and travelling takes forever because you have to get a boat taxi which takes you to land, then run to a road where you can get a land taxi which takes you where you need to go. Plus all the services aren't on the same island so you're always travelling between them which can take a long time.
Anyway... Cory is having a blast in University...
She went bowling:
She found a new guy
Actually, she's found a few... but she hasn't decided whether to stick with one. (I'm contemplating an "ooooops" pregnancy as part of her graduation celebration, we'll see...)
Then she had to study pretty hard to catch up from all the socializing...
She's doing 2 terms at University and managed to ace her exams the first week. We'll see what the second week has in store for her... Then it will be back home for a break between terms to make some more progress on her treasure hunt .
I'm also trying to get the extra trait slots from the social group and graduation, although she won't graduate this term.
(We started playing Final Fantasy XIV this week, so Cory is a bit neglected. But my DH is having a nap so it might be a good time to continue her story. Or, you know, have a shower or something? Who knows.)
