Maybe I should type that directly into google but I'm asking you guys first. I'm talking at magic kingdom, we don't have energy for any addl parks this trip.

She was part of the Disney Jr. show at Hollywood Studios. Many of the Disney Jr. characters where around, we didn't look for her but DS took photos with Jake, Handy Manny and Phineas and Ferb.
No. Doc McStuffins is only at Hollywood Studios in the Disney Junior Live show. She is only a puppet in the show so you can't get pictures or autographs.
That show was Kate's favorite part of the whole trip. I highly recommend a morning or afternoon half-day trip to HS if you can swing it.

I saw previews on Disney channel for that show and it looked awesome for kiddo. However, I'm a little confused - its like buying another day at Disney, right? (Price-wise?)
Since we're not going to do 2 full days, I don't want to shell out a lot. I'll look up more when I'm back on computer vs phone but I'm just not quite about the HS/magic kingdom relationship
Yeah, you'd still have to pay full price even if you only go for a few hours. That's what we did, but between the Disney Jr., Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast shows, it was worth it for us.
Although I'm pretty sure you can find the Disney Jr. show on YouTube which may be good enough for your DD.

Yes, it's a separate park with separate admission. We went in July & did three days at Disney, with Day 2 at HS. We did the Disney Jr. show & character lunch because my kids are crazy about Jake the Neverland Pirate. My DD2 was completely enthralled that she got to meet "the real Jake."
Doc in the show, but only as a puppet. Not worth a separate park day & admission, IMO. No Doc or Disney Jr. stuff at Magic Kingdom, and I didn't think HS was *that* appealing to young kids as it is mostly focused on Hollywood nostalgia.
Yeah it's a different park from Magic Kingdom. We went to HS just for the Disney Jr show and the character breakfast when we went four years ago. I would have probably skipped it if not for the fact that most of the TV characters can only be seen there.

The show is going on the road in 2014. We went to Disney but didn't go Hollywood Studios. The show is coming to our city so I'm just going to wait.
