mascara

So I really like Tarte mascara and the Lancôme Hypernose (sp?) mascara.  Trying to limit spending, do you have a cheaper alternative that you use that you think might be comparable?  I have tried a few loreal ones and just haven't found the right one I guess.  Thanks for any suggestions.

L'Oreal Voluminous Original or Voluminous Million Lashes are the often mentioned dupes of Lancome Hypnose. If those don't work, I'd try out Cover Girl Clump Crusher, just because everyone seems to love it and it's super cheap ($4-5.50 on Amazon!).

I really like the Tarte mascara too. The cheap mascara I use is Cover Girl Lash Blast in the purple tube. I like them equally and I probably won't repurchase the Tarte because the CG is so much cheaper.
