So last week I mentioned in the WTF post that I got pg on my honeymoon. I had some super light spotting right after my BFP, went to the doc, tested hormone levels, all looked great.
We went to my first real appt on Friday and they did an ultrasound. Based on when I ovulated I should have been 6 weeks 3-4 days. They found the gestational sac, measuring about 6 weeks (5 day margin of error) but couldn't find the baby). They are testing my hormone levels again - ill have those results by Thursday - and then a follow up ultrasound on Friday.
This happened with DS and all turned out fine. I have a severely tipped uterus which makes things hard to find. At 6 and a half weeks, the doc said it could just be too early to see. It could really go either way - either we see the baby Friday like I did with DS or we have evidence that the pregnancy stalled (fetus stopped developing).
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

Thanks, ladies! I knew I could count on you guys!
I had my blood drawn again this morning and should have results either tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning. The real test will be the ultrasound though, because apparently your placenta can let off some hormones for a bit even if the fetus stops developing so rise in hormones between Saturday and today would be a step in the right direction, but not a definitive good sign.
And the waiting is the worst. DH and I have talked about what we will do if we get bad news on Friday, so we have a plan. And he has a way better attitude about this than I do, which is good ... one of us needs to. But at this point I just want to know either way so I know how to move forward (either like I am still pregnant, or have a fat glass of wine and start trying again as soon as the doc gives us the ok).
