When it's too hot to cook, we go out to eat. It gets kinda old after a while. Tonight we're having sammies from the local deli. Yesterday we had chinese. If it's hot like this tomorrow too we'll probably get ribs from the local take out place.
If it's too hot to cook, it's too hot to grill too!
No central air in this house. We just moved a couple of months ago and I spent all morning trying to find a/c units that would fit in these (effing) windows. The a/c is still in my van though. I can't lift the box waiting for H to get home
BLTs or other deli sandwiches cold pasta salad fruit salad nosh plate - cheeses, crackers, bologna, olives, etc. Do you have a Jimmy Johns? I like them waaaay better than Subway. They'll deliver!

omg this sounds like a horrifying day. running around in this heat and then you have to wait to get it in!!
we had burgers with a salad tonight. I grilled. It was about one million degrees out, but I don't mind grilling in the heat.
Yesterday we had lobster rolls. Well the girls had hot dogs, lol. I just bought one lobster already cooked at the store, and made the rolls. No cooking and very refreshing. I did boil some corn on the cob, but that isn't too bas since it is on the stove.
Chef Boyardee! What? It's microwaved on contains a serving of veggies...
Or we go out/order pizzas.
Salads and sandwiches are a good option. Or Subway! You can always go to the grocery store and get some pre-made potato salad etc and some fruit to go with the sandwiches.
And it's way too hot to even grill here! Don't know about everyone else, but I'm not going outside unless my life depends on it - or if the dogs have to potty...

I threw a roast and veggies in a crock pot today and it was so easy that I might do chicken thighs tomorrow since it will be even hotter than it was today.
Sandwiches, egg burritos, cereal, tuna salad, store bought roasted chicken and pasta salad

Grab a rotisserie chicken at the store or cook one in a crockpot. Shred. You can make some into buffalo chicken, some into a sort of taco chicken, terikayi chicken, etc. Serve on salad.
