Cosplays from DragonCon!

DragonCon was awesome! Had a great time and wanted to show off the cosplays I wore.  

Friday was Candlehead from Wreck-it Ralph, which was fun and my husband was a good sport and dressed up as Fix-it Felix with me  



Then Saturday I wore my Ender's Game costume which not one person recognized, lol.  But it was comfortable to wear and maybe I'll try to do it again after the movie comes out.



Then Saturday night and Sunday night I wore my "Formal Codex" costume, which ended up being my favorite.  I had fun making the "wand" light up (the green part lights up when you hit it...but it also started to fall apart and I had to hot glue it back together for Sunday) at the Heroes and Villains ball and then wore it to the Darkmoon Faire.  I went looking for quests!



Then I had to slay murlocs!!



And I met various other heroes of Azeroth



I already reserved a room at the Sheraton for next year and am brainstorming new costume ideas.

Oh and for all you Sims fans I saw several "Sims" there!  They had headbands with the floating green diamond over their heads

Looks like a blast. I'm jealous.

I'm surprised nobody recognized the Ender's Game cosplay.

Looks great! We plan on going next year, my dh went on Saturday, Did you see the huge group of night watch? I would hate to of been dressed up with the heat in those.
The hotels fill up so fast for dragoncon, its crazy. We have a friend who lives like a quarter mile away so we just park at his place and walk.3
