Has anyone been to this? The theatre has a movie once a month for Moms with small babies. Lights are up, its okay if you make noise, etc. If you went, how old was your child? I am thinking Layla wont want to stay in the stroller the whole time (she may nap for 45min max) I was thinking I could put a blanket down on the floor and she could play, but then I started thinking about the theatre floor.....
Random addon. i always seem to hit "mark as read" instead of "write a new post" and then you cant undo that. Stupid ipad and fat fingers
I took my kid's to the summer movies for kids many many times. They are $5.00 for 10 movies (older movies). I loved it...cool dark place I could relax in--the baby slept often, the older girls entertained...I even dozed off a few times--lol.
My city has this but I didn't know about it until DS was mobile, so I think I missed the window. There is no way he would be willing to sit through a movie at this age. I wish I had known about it in the newborn to 6 month phase because then I would have seen it as doable. Oh well.

I did it a few times. It was super easy when DS was still a newborn but I tried to go once when DS was 5 months and he was not having it. All he wanted was to be on the ground. I think it just depends on your kid.
I've been twice. About 3 months and 4 months old. DS nursed and slept for the most part.
Most babies are in their mom's laps not in the car seat/stroller. One time we had to leave all the strollers in the hallway outside the theater. It was packed (What to Expect). Most babies were under a year.
