I've never posted on this board, so please forgive me if I am going about this in the wrong way, but I would love some help. My cat, Clyde, was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in March. We found out after some ruling out other things and eventually having an MRI done.
For those of you that have been in similar situations, what signs did you see as their final decline?
I haven't had any experience with this, but I just wanted to say sorry that your furbaby is going through this! Hopefully Clyde will still be able to live a long and normal life.

Thank you. We are so happy to have gotten these six months so far!

I'm sorry I don't post here either usually but wandered over today...
My 12 year old black kitty had lung tumors. We found out because he stopped eating. We force fed for a few days (trying to avoid feline hepatic lipidosis) and went back to the vet for X-rays as he was getting super stressed and we didn't think he was improving, which is when she found the tumors. He was too fat, and they were very deep for her to tell any other way.
He was lethargic although his mood seemed improved after we stopped force feeding. Our vet said if he didn't eat on his own within a few days, it was time. Starvation can take about two weeks according to her, and we all agreed we didn't want him to suffer. It was really hard because his mood was happy to be with us (lots of laying together the last few days, with him purring away) but we couldn't bear to have him starve...
Thanks. Our little guy is still eating like a champ, especially with the steroids too. That's one thing we'll definitely keep an eye on though.
