Generally I consider myself a pretty accomplished knitter (I posted a pic of a partially complete blanket in the introductions thread when we first started here). But I have this rosette pattern that, with three rows of these rosettes knitted together make a scarf. I want to use graded pink/mauve/red wool yarn to make a scarf for my mom. Well, it's taken more than a year of at least 20 false starts, but I finally got one successful rosette, using a cotton yarn that is much easier to work with than the wool I had started with. HFS, this was the hardest thing I've ever knitted in my life.
