We've traveled a bit with DD and stayed in hotels many times before. In the past we've always had her sleep in her pack n play but she has outgrown it since our last trip. We recently started having her sleep in a toddler bed at home. Trying to decide what the best option would be for an upcoming trip we have scheduled ... I'm nervous of having her sleep in a regular bed (the only way she stays in her toddler bed is the 1/2 rail.) Ask for a cot? Pillows on the floor? What has worked best for you?
We either bedshared with her at that age or had an inflatable bed. There was one we bought from one step ahead, but when we stayed at a hotel in Key West last year, they had their own twin-size air mattress that they brought up to our room. We wedged it between the regular bed and the wall and it was perfect.
if she's in a queen, I doubt she would fall out. we never had that problem. you could put pillows on either side if you wanted.
when she stays with us in a room, she inevitably ends up in our bed in the middle of the night and with a king we all 3 can sleep comfortably without ever touching even
