Why my pants won't stay up, but I haven't lost but three lbs in 3 months?
I feel like I'm looking for the wrong kind of attention at work. I bought these pants speciffically for work, and they fit when I bought the damn things and now NOW they are caving under power of GRAVITY!
I haven't owned a belt in a really long time, so I guess it's either duct tape or keep my ass in the chair all day.
Are they actually falling off you when you are standing? Or are they just kinda baggy or gappy in the back when you're sitting? If it's the latter, I would try a belt, although I know belts are so freaking annoying. I have 2 pairs of "fat work pants" that I wear on days when my stomach feels gross. I actually had them tailored to fit me a few years ago but they are still too baggy and ugly. But I wear them once in a while with a belt. And then I have to wear a long/baggyish shirt that covers the belt and all the little puckers it makes.
I have 4 pairs of work pants that actually fit me and I keep putting off buying more because to me, nothing is more boring than purchasing work pants. I always have to get them tailored to fit me... except for 2 of my 4 pairs which I found at the Limited and they fit me without needing tailoring which was awesome. But Limited never seems to have those same type pants anymore.
Falling off, but not completely. I was considering that maybe I had lost an inch or so around my waist, but I don't track inches lost. This is more than an inch. I like my pants to hang around my hips a little, but if I pull to see how much extra pant (waist) I have on the pants, it's ridic.
I couldn't keep any pants up when pregnant, but it's not because they were loose around the hips it's because my belly bulged out of the top. Now I have to wear super duper high waisted pants with long shirts to contain the after effects of this beast and these fancy pants are not falling down anytime soon. Oh and I tried my old belt on the other day and almost jumped out into traffic.

Methinks your belt needs professional help. I know the day that I can take off for a an hour or so to go exercise will come one day, but everytime I even stop by the store on my way home, I feel guilty. There are coupons all the time for Shapes (my apartment doesn't have a gym) and I want to do it, but I feel bad.
I am not afraid to go pantless. Too bad I don't have a dryer, lol. I might try it when I get home. I have to do some fine stitching on the back pocket anyways.
