Omg we are at a tournament for Anna and it is seriously 10 degrees at least higher here than just off the field. It is a beautiful breezy day, yet the stupid field is an oven. A chemical plastic smelling oven.
There's an afro turf covered playground near me that I thought was the stupidest thing when we first moved down here. I changed my tune real quick when we had the rainiest summer in recent history- no mud in the car! But grassstains and muddy cleats are kind of a rite of soccer.
Outdoors. Ugh. We are done for the day but back tomorrow. Hopefully it isn't sunny. Thankfully she played on real grass all summer, it would have been really depressing otherwise.

I am fairly certain there are copious amount of chemicals on our grass soccer fields, plus mosquitoes with West Nile. No change of natural lawn care. I can smell the insect repellent as soon as I get out of the car too. But astro turf? Eww.
