This is our half bath (before we bought it. I don't have the fake plant thing in there, thankfully). TINY. I think it was a closet, formerly.
I have not done a thing with it since we moved in, almost 3 years ago. I am toying with the idea of doing a grass green or orange (almost a sherbet orange) above the wainscotting, then painting the wainscotting white.
And, while we're at it. My kitchen. I also have not painted. I would like to do something like a terra cotta, or maybe an olive green (not sage, true olive).

Oh, jeebus, no. Sherbert and white? No. Our bath has white wainscoting on the bottom and a blue that only looks blue when it's next to white (it's REALY light) on the top. Very fresh and airy looking.
I wouldn't pair a dark color (like grass green) with white. Too stark of a contrast for that small space.
I think green for the bathroom, I think it will look nice with the fixtures. I think the terra cotta in the kitchen would be nice. I like warm, rich colors in kitchens. My kitchen is a sage green and I like it, but I thought it would be too much if you go with green for the bathroom.

Ditto this exactly. Cool refreshing colors in the bathroom and warm colors in the kitchen.

Thoughts? Other ideas?
What about a gray and the wainscotting white. I know it might sound drab, but it would look gorgeous.
