We have 4 nights in mid-November to take a babymoon. Will be in 2nd trimester. Live close to a major airport so flights shouldn't be problematic to most places. Want to stay in US most likely (willing to go to Keys but no further). Ok with something more rural or a city. We like sightseeing and history, outdoor activities, H golfs/fishes, I love the beach. If this ends up being a more resort/relaxing trip than we usually take we are ok with that.
Places we have been already: NYC, Chicago, San Fran/Napa/central coast/OC/San Diego, Miami, savannah, New Orleans, North Carolina coast and the Biltmore area, Atlanta, Houston, DC, Jackson Hole
Places we are considering: Key West, Seattle/Washington coast, Portland, Southwest (Santa fe? Scottsdale? Sedona?) , Amelia Island, possibly Boston?
Amelia Island would be too cold I think. Or at least, definitely not beach weather and it is kind of a sleepy area to be in if you won't be at the beach.
I went to key west pregnant, and while it was beautiful, it wasn't the experience I would have wanted. There are so many fun bars and drinks that I had to avoid. I personally didn't find the beaches to be all that nice (at least in the area where we were staying).
I'd love to go back when NOT pregnant, but it definitely wouldn't be on my top list of places to visit while KU.
If you're ok with it being in the 40's and raining the entire time then Seattle's awesome for outdoor stuff. People from Seattle still hike and do outdoorsy stuff in the rain.
Also, our beaches are rock beaches and it's about a 2 hour drive from Seattle.

We did a Babymoon on the Oregon Coast and it was fantastic and beautiful. But it was August, and already chilly - so not good weather for lying on the beach or going in the water. I would imagine November to be even colder.
November isn't ideal - between fall foliage and true winter - but it's our only option with the kids / work/ etc.
We have 3 full days and 4 nights coming from the southeast. The easiest / cheapest / shortest travel would be a direct flight to Key West. But I keep hearing Key West is much more fun when drinking is an option.
We live in the Deep South and dont get much winter so going somewhere chilly is ok with us- almost a novelty.
