I haven't been kicked to timeline yet and I couldn't be more happy about it.


I've been wanting to share this fun fact on facebook but fear they will kick me to as soon as I hit enter on that status.

Let's see if I am safe here. TBH I am just too fricken lazy to learn the new format and go through my entire facebook life.

It just got me a few weeks ago. I was bummed. My H has yet to be forced over and I am super jealous.

I wish facebook would leave well enough alone. I'm on the brink of shutting my facebook down. Or, rather, deleting everyone other than my husband so I can easily share things with him while he is in Korea. It is just privacy issue after privacy issue and people having more and more issues with boundaries...annoying.

Mine hasn't switched over yet either. Can cover photos be made "friends only"? Because I've noticed they always seem to be public.

No, they're public. It didn't give me the option to make it private.

My H got suckered into switching on his own. It kept saying coming soon, so like an idiot he clicked it and changed it.

To me the cover photo isn't a big deal because they wont let you make your profile pic private anymore. I miss when I was a question mark!

I just hate the stupid layout.

I love it. I switched to it as soon as it was available.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure you can lock posts past a certain time period so you don't have to worry about others reading through your college-years.

What? No. Mine are all set to Friends only and I have a few that are set to Custom. You just do it differently. It's more steam-lined now in that there's a privacy drop-down menu under each album instead of having to click through Home, Privacy, Photos.

ETA: My album of profile picture is set to friends only, but they show my current one to anyone that isn't a friend that happens to stumble across my page. Cover photos are public, but you don't have to have a cover photo. DH doesn't.
