A month and a half ago I got around finally to changing my name from when we tied the knot uh, 7 months ago.
I kept my First middle and last and tacked his LN onto mine. So its Firstname Middlename Lastname Newlastname.
Do I have a maiden name? I can go by my maiden or his name (which was why I chose this route), but legally I am both last names. So my maiden name is my maiden name and my married name is both names combined?
Really? I didn't do any research on it. I should look into though because DH wants to drop his first name (he is named after his father from whom he is estranged and he does not have a relationship.) Then I think they would remove the Junior after his name.
Fun fact: DH was supposed to be Joshua, but his mom didn't wake up from anesthesia in time and his father named him after himself instead.

I'm so difficult. Sorry and TIA for the help!
I did exactly like you except dropped the middle name because of personal issues. Anyway, I should have hyphenated because it is such a headache, mainly because people just ignore my first last name.
Your first last name would be considered your maiden name.
Thanks! That's what I entered on the application, but I really wasn't sure and it had never occurred that I would have this question when I was weighing out how to do my name.
