I *think* I might have one, but my symptoms don't exactly match up with those on Kellymom and other websites. My right breast feels like it doesn't fully drain after nursing or pumping and always feels significantly more engorged than the other side.
However, I don't see/feel an actual lump anywhere, and the breast doesn't feel warm to the touch. Does this sound like a plugged duct and, if so, does it warrant a call to a LC or a nurse line? I'm not sure they would recommend anything beyond standard home remedies (heat, massage, fluids, etc.)
It could just be a "lighter" plugged duct. I had that last week for a few days. My left side felt full with a somewhat firm spot, but it didn't hurt like the usually do.
BFing is the only thing that clears mine. Well and a healthy daily dose of lecithin.

My clogged ducts always felt like my boob got hit by a truck. I never felt a lump or noticed warmth. Lots of pumping and BFing and massaging it (ouch!) in the shower would get mine out in 1-2 days usually.
What happens when you try to hand express from the fuller breast?
Sometimes this happens to me when LO seems to have one good nurse and then one less focused nurse, meaning that one side is always 'up' for the good feed and one for the bad feed. (She only nurses one side.) If that's the case, usually giving her the full side twice in a row sorts it out without negative ramifications on supply, fullness of the other breast, etc.
Definitely massage before/after, though, especially if it feels full in just one area, as opposed to the whole breast.
