Soooooo....
I just washed my WHITE brand new chef jackets. Opened the washer and SURPRISE blue ink on two of the three jackets. I did NOT put the jackets with ink on them in the dryer!
I didn't pay for these, my chef will shit a brick if I tell him I just fucked up two of three jackets he JUST gave me.
So, do I just buy new ones and figure out the style? OR how do I get the ink out? I heard rubbing alcohol and hair spray will work, but they just made the stain spread (I tried on two small spots. Not the GIANT globs). Should I just take them to a dry cleaners?
I have one coat to wear so it's not a total loss. And I don't have to go to work naked tomorrow. Bonus.
I really like Fels Naptha for stains. Really work it in and let it sit maybe two nights- you might want to do a couple of rounds of rubbing. Did you put the coats through the dryer already?

Nope! Caught the ink as I was putting them in the dryer, so I left them out.

Have you ever heard of winning colours? It's pretty intense (it smells like solvents something fierce), but took coolant out of MrJJ's jeans without ruining the denim and the smell washed out of his pants right away,

Hair spray or rubbing alcohol (the hair spray works because of the alcohol) doesn't generally make it disappear until you've washed it again. I would saturate it with the hair spray or rubbing alcohol and wash again.
