I'm over them big time. I hate how every little change becomes a blog post with 37 pictures from the same angle. The blue light in the bathroom? Fifty bucks says they hung it up, took pictures then immediately moved it to the correct spot & took more pictures which then turned into two seperate posts. And that kitchen is fug. I like the dining room & office though.

I'm with you. I liked them up until the move, and I like the DR/office areas, but that kitchen and that floor is awful! I'll check out their tutorials sometimes or search pinterest and see if they have anything worth checking out, but I've removed them from my blog reader and don't visit their site anymore.
ETA: I'll probably visit their site around Thanksgiving/Christmas to check out their decorations because they do have cute ideas occasionally.

I just found them a few months ago, and I don't read their daily updates. But I loved going through the house tours and I enjoy the clean look and comfortable feel of their house. Although I'm big on dark and bold colors when decorating my own homes. Their DIY skills are off the chain, though. IMO.
I'm assuming they are making a lot of money off of their blog and appearances at this point, though, so it is what you see happen to all of these blogs that get big. Pioneer Woman anyone? I used to follow her religiously before she sold out to every one who would sling money at her for taking pictures, laughing on televeision, scribble a book out with common recipes and pretty pictures, etc.
I've noticed them heading down the PW path over the last 6 months & it's annoying. I may stop reading completely if they don't stop talking about their damn book & secret projects.

I haven't read anything about the book, lol. I pick and choose based on posts (mostly old posts) that catch my eye for projects I want to remember. I did read some of the patio saga but I have zero interest in that. I'm sure it will look neat when they are done but, the husband drags shit on and on and on and seems to be more of a crazy AW than she.

I think it depends on which DIY skills you're talking about. Their deck skills are obviously lacking, but sure, they're awesome with a can of spray paint.
I agree they've gotten really PW lately. I think they do a lot of cheap/under-researched decor decisions just so they can go back and do another post about how it sucked and they should have done something else all along. Or when they do an entire post dedicated to showing five copies of an image, but photoshop something different in each one. I only continue to read them because they post every day while other blogs only do it a few days here and there, and it's something to do over breakfast.
I do like some of the stuff they do. I love their hallway, the color on the back of the built-ins, the bedroom wall color, accessories in the office, and I even like the living room. I've really disliked most other things they done so far.
I'm loving House*Tweaking over them lately. I loved watching the process of completely gutting a house and starting from scratch.

Me too. I hate their kitchen. Big time. The floor and penny tile are ok, but the avocado paint color is awful. I also don't like their bedroom. I fell like their diy is hideous too.
