How did you pay? Even if she won't refund, you can file claims with PayPal, your CC company, etc. it doesn't have to end with her if she insists on being a jackass.
That sucks though. I've never had a problem with etsy, knock on something.
If you paid with PayPal, file a claim with them too.
Also, file the claim with Etsy now, you have to wait 7 days for the seller to resolve the issue before they'll actually get involved.
I'll wait until she checks the post office. If she gives me no answers today, I'll file the claim before I leave work this evening. I do want to give her the opportunity to figure it out, though I will admit I'm pissed she won't just send a replacement or offer a refund.
You're a nice person. I got burned so bad last time that I'm mean now. Lol.
The transaction that went bad last time was when I paid with my CC directly through Etsy. I only pay with PayPal now, since their dispute process is so much more straightforward.
Give her negative feedback and file a claim with Etsy.
I sent her another message. She's going to the post office today, apparently, to try to track it down. I told her to please let me know what they said, and that I was dissatisfied because this is an unfair exchange in that she has my money but I have no product.
If she can't locate it, or doesn't refund or send a replacement, I'm filing a claim with Etsy. It's ridiculous. If they allow it to stand, then anyone can open an Etsy shop, claim they have a policy of no refunds, and just collect money while not shipping goods.
This means she never mailed it and she's taking it to the post office today because you've shown you're willing to fight her if she doesn't follow through. I had this problem a couple of weeks ago on another website. First she told me she was having personal problems that were stopping her from getting to the post office, then she shipped it but didn't have any sort of confirmation, then it got returned to her and she "re-sent" it. Two weeks later, I finally got it with the original shipping label on it, dated 11 days before she actually shipped it.

This happened to me. Etsy package was tracked to my house and marked delivered but I never received it. Seller wouldn't do anything (refund or replace) and post office was zero help. I left negative feedback, did not get my $$ back.

Yes, but this is different than what LHC is going through. The package was actually tracked and delivered. Her package hasn't even been scanned in at the Post Office.
LOL. This happened to me, only it was a camera on eBay. Funny how challenging the seller somehow makes the package magically appear at the post office!
I am never ordering from Etsy again. It's a scammers paradise. The last 3 orders have all been a bust and even though they were only $10-$15 a pop, it was irritating to have to file claims back to back. I am officially over that place.
