Weekend Wrap-up

I have a case of the Sundays; I get pissy late in the day every Sunday knowing that the workweek is starting again. So what did you do this weekend? Anything good/fun/scandalous?

Friday night at happy hour I found out my work husband loves Abba. I fully intend on using it against him. I'm plotting it now. ;D

Saturday we washed our cars (i.e. S washed our cars), and I laid out for a bit on the deck. S and I went out to dinner and then walked over to this cute little shopping area and browsed the shops.

Today we went grocery shopping and then played 9 holes of golf. The course we went to had a Mother's Day special (greens fees for moms were free), so I had to claim I was a mom. I probably turned beet red at the hilarity of it. Now we're just chilling at home and watching TV.

Yesterday I cleaned the house and took Foxxy to the dog park. Today I went to the theme park and when I get home, I'm going to play The Sims

Yesterday I played tennis with a friend. Today, went swimming, and now I'm exhausted! Hoping to watch some Netflix and go to bed early!

Saturday: tried to lay out, but it was super cloudy. Then I went to my moms house to help my brothers "gf" get ready to supervise the special ed prom. H and I went to dinner with my parents and watched a concert. We left early to pick up my brother so my mom could hang out.

Today: H and I went to lunch then ran some errands.

I didn't do much Friday or Saturday, just laundry, cleaning, etc.

Today I got together with family so we could see my brother one last time before he moves to California next week. It was a just a small going away party with my immediate family, but it was nice to see everyone. And, I'm already planning my trip to visit him!

I got a night off on Friday so I watched a bit of TV, did a teeny tiny bit of cleaning, and slept.

Saturday morning I took a van load of stuff across town for a future garage sale and spent a few hours hanging out with my mom.

Sunday we lounged around the house and went to my moms house in the afternoon. We did dinner at Applebee's - not ideal but choices are limited on Mother's Day.

My weekend was nice, Friday I went over for wine night to a girl friend's house and despite the downpour of rain it was a really nice time.

Saturday we went to the crawfish boil for food, beer, music, and supporting a charity fundraiser, then afterwards we went over to my BFF's house in the evening.

Yesterday I did a little reading and sunbathing outside in the backyard, a walk with H was dealing with some alternator issue with his car most of the day.

Had a good weekend, went camping with the fam, rode a Segway for the very first time, came home yesterday and got the house cleaned, went for an run, then relaxed the rest of the evening.

Friday night I cleaned up the house and packed for the trip to my cousin's wedding.

Saturday we spent 3 hours in the car, visited my uncle, and then went to the wedding. It was a total redneck wedding - jeans and sneakers were as dress as it got.

Sunday we hit the road early to get back before the dog sitter had to leave. Then I needed to do a HUGE grocery shop since we had zero food in the house. Then I took a nap.

Saturday- H and I looked at a new condo to rent and fell in love! So we'll probably sign a lease this week for it.

Sunday- Went with H's family to the Cubs game in Milwaukee. It was so much fun, I got really sunburned though. And H and I made it on TV!

It was a good weekend for me. We went to hapy hour and dinner, and a couple of friends met up with us, and we saw Avengers, and got home way too late.

Saturday, picked up the race packet, and then went out to my parent's place to hang out with my mom for Mother's Day, came home, grilled some kabobs, and made it an early night.

Sunday I had the race in the morning (which was an amazing experience) came home and did a bunch of stuff around the house.

Yup! In August! It's the Orc Stomp 5k in Indianapolis - while we're on vacation.

I had a great weekend!
I'm not even sure what we did on Friday.. must have been fun

Saturday - we did Mother's day with my mother. She and I went to the gym and then we went out to the lake where my cousin already had camp and we spent the day there. Had chicken fajitas and turkey burgers (yum!)

Sunday - we did Mother's day with D's gmother. I made her, gpa, D and 2 cousins staying in the house French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, and Bacon for Bfast. D and I went home and played a little wii, then took it next door (gparents) and played over there.. had his aunt not come by, his gma definitely would have joined us! haha, spent most of the rest of the day reading or eating.. gooood stuff

Friday - did nothing.

Sat - went shopping because I had a few coupons to one of my favorite stores. Hung out with a friend.

Sunday - just cleaned and took a nap, etc. Made my calls for Mother's Day and that was it.

We spent the weekend traveling around and telling my family our news, and then last night we put an offer in on the house we want. It's a steal if we get it! Fingers crossed!

Friday - The concert was A BLAST! But it got started late, therefore ended late which meant we didn't get home til late. Then we had to work Saturday.

Saturday - Work graduation events. I was supposed to work at noon, but boss let me go home, so M and I slept for about 3 hours (so nice)! Co-worker's wedding, then drinks with my boss and her H.

Sunday - slept in. Visited with M's cousins. Wrote some thank you notes. Downloaded some music. Looked through more wedding pictures (!). Laundry. Designed wedding announcement to send to all the people we couldn't invite.

Oh yeah, and we had dinner with M's mother and grandmother.
