If you send bug repellent in for daycare, what do you send? I'm hesitant to send anything with DEET. They were in the grass for a water slide so he has a bunch of bites and a nice ankle rash from the grass irritating his skin.
Well deet is really the only thing that works, but I'm not willing to use it either. I send some all-natural spray from WF to fulfill the daycare's bug spray requirement, but I doubt it is really effective.

I sent California Baby non-aerosol spray. It smells like herbs; he smells a little like a salad when I pick him up. Not sure it really works, but DS hasn't had too many bug bites.
I'll have to look for the bracelets then will try the spray. When I went to Costa Rica I used a natural one that worked as well as the heavy DEET sprays others were wearing (and still getting mosquito bites) but don't remember what it was. It worked awesome on sand flies. I'm not positive they are mosquito bites but we have West Nile and EEE here too, though no alerts yet for the year. Thanks for the suggestions.
