A sleeps great. She hasn't always gone down easy but once she does she stays down for a long time. Wehad to do a little cry it out at 17 months to get her to go to sleep but now she even goes down pretty easy. She will whine for a few minutes and then roll around until she's comfy, which can take an hour at night and an hour and a half for a nap. She wakes up at night and rolls around awake without a peep but I hear her little foot kick my bedroom wall through her crib slat and it wakes me up so I watch her on the monitor put herself back to sleep. She's a dream really. But now she's getting her knee stuck in the crib bars. Last night I put her to bed at 9:30. She whined about 10 minutes. Rolled around until 10:30. Got her knee stuck. I got it out. Put her back down. She cried for 10 minutes and fell asleep. At 6am her knee is stuck again. Rinse, repeat. Do I have to transition her bed? I really don't think either of us is ready. But one of these days it's really going to get stuck in there . Hold me.
Maybe one of the mesh bumpers will help? We gave the girls twin beds at 2 years old. They sleep through the night in their beds 90% of the time. That might be just them , though. They only napped in a crib for a few months when I was forced to put them in daycare, so they are used to sleeping in beds.
