NPR, Dear Neighbors

Dear Neighbors,
Thank you so much for picking this gorgeous Sunday to burn your leaves all day long. Now, since I obviously had my windows open for the 3hrs we were gone today & you began said burn, my house smells like a disgusting old Vegas hotel/casino.
And, I can't enjoy this beautiful evening whilst sitting on my patio in the backyard, b/c Im getting smoked out from the remnants of your little fire that are still burning.
I get that its a free country & all, but really, we live in the city & frankly, its just downright rude!!

Do you live on the other side of our neighbors? They are always burning stuff, without the permit required by our township. You might want to check with your municipality, most have burning bans on Sundays.

But I feel your pain and hope the smoke clears soon!

Huh, you know what, I never thought of that (burn permit/burning ban on Sundays). DH knows all that kind of stuff so Im surprised he didn't say anything about that...although we are 'technically' actually within city limits, so perhaps thats why.

Regardless, still sucks!! Thanks for the sympathy! haha
