The jello and raspberries, yes. String cheese, I would not do without an ice pack.

I hate to have the ice pack in with her hot thermos entree.  Everything has to be together in one bag.  I may go out and buy a 2 compartment lunch bag, but hers is new already.

Target has some lunch boxes on clearance. I just got one for M that was 50%. Look in the school supply section. They also had some on an end cap near the sporting goods section.

I don't think I would want cheese in a lunch bag next to a warm thermos without ice.

Do a test run with hot water for a few hours and see if the ice pack cools it.

Yep, I've sent all those things in a lunch without an ice pack before. I would make sure the cheese and the thermos are separated as much as possible though.
