I didn't like it. I also felt weird when sitting but it DOES help a lot when walking. I would just use the bottom 2 parts and not the part that goes at the top of the belly -- so it kind of lifted w/o weighing on any other part of me, if that makes sense.
I carried CRAZY low and the docs/nurses all said I should have worn it more often but I didn't notice anything hugely different except when walking (and by the end it's not like I was doing much of that anyway).

I don't use it when I'm sitting, but I do use it when I'm running or doing anything on feet for while. Like when I painted the nursery the other night. Or if I have a lot of umm.... pelvic pain- I'll put it on and then lay down on my side for a while.
At least with the one I have, it's too stiff for me to be able to sit down in. Maybe I need to break it in more?
Oooh okay. So, I lifted the belly and put the strap thing under it, loosely velcroing it to the back part. Seriously underneath, so it was like holding it up. Then I would do one side at a time while still holding my belly up at much as I could, bringing each side back more to support. It was never perfect but I think it's really important to a) lift and b) not have any stomach underneath it.
Did you get the right size? That sounds stupid but I actually needed a large when by the measurements I should have been a medium. The medium didn't have enough heft to lift the belly lol.
Also what helped with my belly pain was lying on my side with pillows under the belly so it was still level. It took SO much of the weight off. And I had pillows inbetween my knees, too.
By the end we actually moved the ottoman to the side of the couch for belly support haha.
Yeah definitely try the large. Even if it's "too" big there's enough fabric there for the velcro to stick to.
Ah I forgot this is your 2nd. Hmm loose skin would be tricky. It's not carrying any of the weight? I wore it against my skin or over yoga pants, but never over belly panels. I actually think the "compression" of the belly panel would not help. I couldn't wear belly panel pants after like, 32?weeks because they just HURT. It was too much. I had the most success with the belt over tank tops, actually -- maybe b/c they pulled up and not down?
