Has anyone been able to find Clomipramine?

We give our dog clomipramine for her anxiety, but we haven't been able to find it anywhere in the past few months.

We tried Clomicalm, but it didn't work as well - and it's a lot more $$$$.

Anyone have any luck?

I purchase it at Target and haven't had any issues with availability. Have you tried there?

gmail - did you ever find more clomipramine?  If you need some, PM me.  

We ended up on Clomicalm from the vet and while it's more $$, it's working a lot better (it's a bit higher dose.)

Oh, I have both a Target and a Sam's club by me. I need the 25, actually. How do I check around Maryland?

Would I get the vet to write a script for Target?

I'm surprised that you can still get the generic. my vet told me that it isn't being manufactured anymore. Something about a shady deal between Novartis and the generic manufacturer.

Re: Clomicalm not working- Novartis said that 1 80mg tablet per day was the max for my dog b/c their med is absorbed better by the body. We did 2 75mg capsules per day while on the generic. Lets just say they are lying liars who lie and my pup needs 2 80mg tablets per day to be at the same state as she was on the generic. 1 does not cut it.

It's expensive as hell for me now, but I'll do what I need to for my baby to be happy.
