I started taking them about a week ago and was expecting digestive issues during the adjustment period, but it seems like it's my skin that is being weird.
I'm broken out and my lips got super sore and sensitive for a couple of days right as I started, and I got those little cracks at the corner of my mouth.
My lips have healed up but I'm still a zit factory. My stomach feels great, though.
I was going to say maybe try a vegan probiotic (I use Good Belly- if you sign up on their website, you get coupons. The blueberry acai flavor is the best, IMO), but on second thought, I like Quesara's theory better. I actually started probiotics while on antibiotics for acne, so I am absolutely no help here.
You mean like, unpleasant? Or do you mean to tell me to abandon ship?
Well, the lip thing bothers me more than the acne, since it seems like pretty much any change in your system can cause acne. And since they are better, I guess I wouldn't worry. It just doesn't sound like a normal reaction.
Hmm. Maybe it's a coincidence. I just wondered if there was some epic bacteria battle going on in my system and it irritated my skin, especially since lips are supposed to be the most sensitive skin we have.
