I should have done this months ago but we are doing it this weekend and I have some questions. What should be anchored?
I get some things are obvious, the bookshelf, the tall curio, the TV and the stand. What about the desk? It doesn't look very tippy. What about our bedroom furniture? He doesn't go in there much (we are hardly ever upstairs unless going to bed) but should I do it just in case he does get in there? One person on a comments section of a website mentioned anchoring dresser drawers so they can't use it to climb but what does that mean? How do you anchor drawers?
Also anyone anchor furniture in a rental home? Not sure how this will turn out with that whole aspect.
Oh sorry I didn't mention we will be anchoring his dresser and this play thingy with tubs for his toys. I don't know about our dresser though since he's never in our room.

You can add drawer safety locks. Definitely make sure your TVs can't be toppled. There were 3 kids in NJ that died from flatscreens falling on them in one year.

OK so its more like a lock so he can't open the drawer rather than anchoring the drawers. Gotcha.
