I ran over to Walgreens to get a script, and parked next to a really nice Benz - with two dogs locked in it. No cracked windows. It was about70 and sunny, so I figured I'd chill for a few minutes to see if someone came back.
15 min later, I was like "fuck it - WWMLD?" so I went inside and noticed two dog bones in a shopping basket on the pharmacy counter. I asked the pharmacist if they belonged to someone b/c (I got loud) THERE WERE TWO DOGS LOCKED IN A CAR WITH NO CRACKED WINDOWS AND THEY WERE REALLY HOT AND PANTING.
THis lady gets up and was like "are they okay?" I turn to her and said "No, they are hot. It might only be 70 outside, but it's really hot in a car that sits in direct sunlight without open windows. Your car has been outside for at least 15 minutes, and if I didn't find the owner, I was going to call the police." She huffs, and said "Well, I didn't think it would take this long. Guess I'll go crack a window."
UGH PEOPLE
I got back into my car, after being in the store for about 20 min, and it was BLAZING hot. I got mad all over again.
People suck. Our neighbor's dog ran off, again, and is still missing. If you know your dog takes off, don't take him outside, with leash and collar, and then do gardening.

Is that a 311 or a 911 thing? Its hard to tell sometimes. I always call 311 first, but sometimes they tell you to call the cops. I wonder if you called ACC if they would come out or tell you to call the city.
